Lady Antebellum solidified their status as a country super-act with the release of 'Need You Now,' the first single from their sophomore album of the same name. The monster ballad raced up the country charts, eventually spending an impressive five weeks at No. 1 and selling more than five million digital singles in the United States alone.

Written by band members Dave Haywood, Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley, as well as famed Nashville songwriter Josh Kear, our No. 57 entry on the Top 100 Country Songs countdown matched its commercial success with critical praise. The tune earned the CMA, ACM and ACA Single of the Year honors in 2010, and led to an impressive four Grammy trophies for Lady Antebellum in 2011, including the coveted Record of the Year.
