If you have already purchased your tickets for Country Stampede, you're in for a bit of a treat. Organizers for the four-day country music and camping festival announced have announced that Trace Adkins will put on his black cowboy hat and step in for Lady Antebellum on Saturday, June 29, 2013.

If you're planning to make the trek to Tuttle Creek State Park in Manhattan, KS, be sure to tune your ears for Adkins' 'Tough People Do' as he serenades festival-goers with his rich baritone and captivating stage presence.

It's been fun to see which country stars are filling the big shoes of the talented Lady A trio, since most of their summer tour has been cancelled due to Hillary Scott's upcoming bundle of joy with husband Chris Tyrrell.

The Dixie Chicks will be replacing Lady A at the 2013 Craven Country Jamboree, and now with the announcement of Trace Adkins at Country Stampede, we know the summer's festivals will still be full of our favorite country crooners.

It's especially important to note that both Adkins and Lady Antebellum are booked for the first-ever Taste of Country Music Festival, scheduled June 13-15. Lady A's appearance there will likely be the last before the baby arrives.
