One of the more unique cuts from Lady Antebellum's 'On This Winter's Night' album has been made available for free on iTunes. 'Silent Night (Lord of My Life)' is the single of the week, meaning fans can grab it at no charge until Christmas.

The song begins as a fairly straight forward version of the classic we all know well. Hillary Scott sings the familiar verse until the chorus, when Charles Kelley begins the 'Lord of My Life' portion of the song. Already a fine tribute to the birth of Jesus, the unexpected addition allows the message to resonate even deeper.

Released in October 2012, 'On This Winter's Night' has already been certified gold for 500,000 albums shipped. In addition to the single featured on iTunes, the trio cover 'I'll Be Home For Christmas,' 'A Holly Jolly Christmas,' 'Blue Christmas' and seven other well-known classics on the record, along with the title track, which is an original.

During the CMA Country Christmas special on ABC Thursday night (Dec. 20), Lady A performed three songs, all from 'On This Winter's Night.' Included was a collaboration with Jennifer Nettles. The group closed the show singing 'Let It Snow.'
