Lady Antebellum were guests on the daytime gab fest 'The Talk' on Wednesday (Feb. 6), where they touched on a whole host of topics ranging from singer Hillary Scott's pregnancy to how her bandmates will be spoiling her baby (when it arrives), plus a little Grammys chatter and to how the trio a bit of a musical left turn with their infectious new single 'Downtown.'

Host Sharon Osbourne immediately asked Scott -- who will mentor on Season 4 of 'The Voice' -- how she is feeling with a baby in her belly, to which she responded that she is through her first trimester, "where all I wanted to do was sleep."

The lead singer continued, "I am feeling good and empowered, and proud to be walking around with a baby in there."

Charles Kelley also confessed that it'll be a spoiled baby, declaring, "No matter what kind of discipline Hillary thinks she's going to try, Dave [Haywood] and I, when she's not looking, will take the kid out to Chuck E. Cheese."

The group also talked about the different direction they went in with the bouncy new single 'Downtown.' Scott put in perspective, saying that coming of an arena tour, they wanted to keep momentum going and sustain that type of energy.

"We wanted something fun, that we knew we could perform every night and have a blast doing it. It's a little bit of a left turn for us. I love that I get to be a little sassy," she explains. Lady A also wanted to go with lighter fare since their last album, 'Own the Night,' had its share of serious tunes.

Kelley perhaps summed it up best, deeming it a "roll down your windows" sound.

This summer, Lady A (with a very pregnant Scott) will perform at the Taste of Country Music Festival, which takes place June 13-15 in Hunter Mountain in New York, so fans that attend will more than likely get to enjoy a live dose of 'Downtown.' Buy tickets to the event here.
