Lauren Alaina Injures Ankle on American Idols Live Tour

Poor Lauren Alaina! Based on her tweets from last night, it seems the 'American Idol' runner-up has suffered an ankle injury while out on tour with Scotty McCreery and the rest of the gang.

The American Idols Live tour made a stop at Portland, Oregon's Rose Garden yesterday, July 9, where Alaina must have gotten a little too into her singing. Post-show, the Georgia native tweeted, "Pic # 1 of my ankle! : ( it hurts so bad!!" followed by a second photo of her very bruised ankle shortly after.

Fans felt sorry for the 16-year-old 'Like My Mother Does' singer, and decided to try and make her feel better using the tool readily at their disposal: Twitter. Idol-ites created a 'get well Lauren' hashtag to cheer up their favorite aspiring singer. "Thanks everyone for the #getwellauren that's so sweet(: love y'all," Alaina later tweeted.

The American Idols Live Tour is currently on the west coast, with stops in Sacramento, Oakland, San Jose and Los Angeles, Calif. expected this week. Get well soon, Lauren Alaina!
