Lauren Alaina recently stopped by the Bobby Bones radio show and instead of performing one of her songs, decided to do a cover of Alicia Keys' "Fallin'." The vocalist added humor to the song when she sang it on helium by taking several breaths from a balloon before beginning to sing.

In the hilarious 90-second clip Alaina alternates from singing into the microphone to taking a quick breath from a balloon filled with helium to continue the song's high vocal range. The singer holds back laughter as she deflates one balloon, only to be handed another to keep singing the song. Watch the hilarity ensue above.

Keys is no doubt an inspiration for many vocalists -- country artists included --  as she recently performed Little Big Town's "Girl Crush" at the 2016 ACM Honors with Cam. In an interview with the Boot, Cam gushed about rehearsing with the Grammy Award-winning singer on the red carpet before the two took the stage together.

“She is such a strong woman and [has] the most amazing voice. The whole time, I was gushing over her and yelling swear words at how amazing she is,” Cam confessed.

In addition to Keys, Alaina says Martina McBride has been a huge role model. After serving as an opening act for McBride, Alaina posted a photo of herself with the singer and captioned her photo by raving about one of her early heroes.

“I grew up singing my heart out to this beautiful lady’s songs,” Alaina writes of McBride. “A couple of days ago I opened up for her. What would 10 year old Lauren’s face look like if I could tell her that would happen one day. I imagine it would look very similar to the one I made when I realized she was watching my set from side stage. @martinamcbride thank you for being everything I dreamed you’d be.”
