Meet several #LetTheGirlsPlay artists as they perform with RaeLynn, Lauren Alaina and more next weekend at the CMA Music Festival. The Song Suffragettes collective has three shows planned between June 10-12, and their second anniversary show the next Monday.

On June 10, the group will play the Listening Room, their home for the weekly #LetTheGirlsPlay shows. Sunday afternoon and evening (June 12), find them for two shows on the CMA Close-Up Stage. Alaina has been confirmed to join the group for the 1:30PM show, while RaeLynn will join them for a 4:15PM set. The CMA Close-Up stage is inside the Music City Center in downtown Nashville.

The second anniversary show will take place on Monday, June 13. Typically five female singer songwriters perform in the round, before coming together for a super cover. Taste of Country has covered many of these shows, and featured many of the singers in artist of the month profiles. Kalie Shorr was the very first #LetTheGirlsPlay artist, and since being profiled she’s gone on to sign a management and publishing deal, record an album and have a song (“Fight Like a Girl”) featured on CMT, SiriusXM the Highway and Spotify.

Shorr's schedule includes eight shows during the 2016 CMA Music Festival, beginning with a June 8 set on the Highway Finds stage at the Ascend Amphitheater. Her June 11 set and Q&A on the Radio Disney stage is another highlight. Find that at the Fan Fair X area.

Taste of Country has always been a proud supporter of women in country music, and each month you’ll see a new featured #LetTheGirlsPlay artist on the site, as well as new group covers every Sunday.
