LeAnn Rimes Starting a Line of Bikinis?

Practice makes perfect, and LeAnn Rimes has been practicing something that doesn't have much to do with singing ... unless you're belting out Jake Owen's 'Beachin'.'

Rimes has perfected the art of bikini wearing. The country star is known for her love of skimpy suits, so it makes perfect sense that she may be launching a line of swimwear in the future.

The singer tells Fox News that she's thought about launching her own line, admitting, "I’ve been researching that a little bit more as we speak."

Adds Rimes, "I mean, I’ve worn so many bikinis that I know what works and what doesn’t. I know what I like and I know what’s missing in the marketplace. We shall see! I hope that it comes to fruition."

If her bikini line does pan out, expect to see pieces that Rimes herself would wear. "I’m an earthly girl. I love very natural colors -- nudes and golds," she reveals. "Beautiful, feminine and classy."

The songstress not only wears bikinis a lot, but she also owns more than your average beachgoer ... a lot more. Between shoes and bikinis, Rimes could clothe a small village.

"The other day, I said I had 80 pairs of shoes and Eddie was like, 'No way. You have at least 140 pairs of shoes,'" she explains. "So, I started counting and I told him, 'Babe, I stopped counting at 200.' So, that’s pretty much the same thing with bikinis. I’d like to say that I don’t have a ton, but I know I do."

Rimes recently reenacted a Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover with her friends, showing off that body she's worked so hard for. As you can see from the picture, she and her friends favor smaller bottoms -- and she doesn't believe only perfectly fit people should sport skimpy bottoms to show of ... well, their bottoms.

"I think the biggest misconception about bikinis is that if you’re heavier, that you need to wear more coverage on your butt," Rimes says. "It looks horrible on any woman. The skimpier the bottoms, the better your butt looks! If you look at pictures of women with bikinis that cover the whole butt, it just looks frumpy. Flaunt what you’ve got!"

Rimes is currently starring in a reality show called 'Leann & Eddie' alongside her husband Eddie Cibrian. It airs Thursday evenings at 10:30PM ET on VH1.
