LeAnn Rimes and Laura Bell Bundy are getting ready to have their faces all over CMT soon, but it's not music videos this time around. The talented singers and actresses are to be featured in the new CMT Original Movie series of made-for-TV movies to air this summer.

Laura Bell Bundy is set to appear alongside actor Ricky Schroder in the movie, 'To the Mat, which premieres in August. In the movie, Schroder plays the role of an ex-wrestler who's forced to work with a Wall Street consultant, played by Bundy, to try and save his family's wrestling school.

Rimes' movie, airing in September, is 'Reel Love,' which follows the story of a cosmopolitan girl who returns to her small town roots for a family emergency. As she reconnects with long lost family and friends, Rimes' character finds herself a new relationship.

CMT officials are anxiously awaiting the premiere of both movies, feeling they will be a hit with their viewing audience.

"We've had great ratings success programming with acquired theatrical romantic comedies," CMT Sr. VP of Programming, Mary Beth Cunin, explains, "So it is only natural for us to create original stories that are tailor made for the CMT audience."

Bundy is currently in production for her film, and Rimes will begin her work in April. Both women have dipped their toes into the acting pool before, with Rimes starring in the Lifetime movie, 'Northern Lights,' and Bundy acting as the lead in the Broadway production of 'Legally Blonde.'
