LeAnn Rimes Bringing Christmas on the Road With Tour, New Holiday Album

It may still be summer, but that doesn't mean LeAnn Rimes isn't already looking forward to making your Christmas bright and cheery. The country singer will hit the road again this December for her annual holiday-themed Today Is Christmas tour.

“I wait for Christmas all year long, it’s my absolute favorite holiday;” Rimes says in a press release. “I can’t wait to share some of my new original Christmas songs with my fans as well as my favorite classics. I am looking forward to making more holiday memories with my fans this year.”

This tour will make its way through the western part of the country, starting in Tacoma, Wash. on Dec. 4. The trek will feature ten dates with singer-songwriter Ellee Duke acting as the featured opener.

Last year, Rimes released One Christmas - Chapter 1. The 32-year-old country singer is following the same suit this year by releasing another holiday album with the same name as her tour, which will coincide with her winter shows. That project is due to be released in the fall, but no exact date has been given.
