Lee Brice knew what fire smelled like on Jerrod Niemann's bus, because his own had caught fire just months earlier. The 'Hard to Love' singer was sleeping when he and his bandmates were rushed off the bus in Mesa, Ariz. in Jan. 2012. "I thought it was a prank," he said. "But then I got out of bed and there was smoke in the back of the room. And that isn’t campfire smoke. Those fumes are toxic." The engine was toasted and the guys lost some personal belongings, but no one was injured.
