Are you ready for some college football? Well Lee Brice is, since the Clemson Tigers college football team has handpicked him to write and record their gameday anthem -'Orange Empire'- for the kick-off of the team's new season.

Brice penned 'Orange Empire' with two of his frequent co-writing pals, Billy Montana and Brian Davis. Fans needn't fear. You don't have to head down to South Carolina to see a game in order to hear the tune, as it is also available for download through iTunes.

"I remember the ride over to the stadium on the team bus," recalls Brice. "When we’d get to the top of that hill …there really is no describing the intensity and excitement. The fans were ready and insanely loud! When I sat down to write this song, I wanted to portray that feeling. Hopefully it'll get ‘em going!"

Brice will return to his old stomping grounds on the campus he spent many Friday nights playing ball later this year when he'll host a pre-game concert at Littlejohn Coliseum on Nov. 23 -- the night before Clemson goes head-to-head with rivals the USC Gamecocks. Tickets to the concert will go on sale on Oct. 5 through Ticketmaster, but fans can head over to iTunes now to buy 'Orange Empire' to get ready for the big day.

While you're over on iTunes purchasing 'Orange Empire,' pick up a copy of Brice's latest single from his sophomore album, which is the project's title track, 'Hard to Love.' This week the tune continues to climb the charts in the Top 15.
