Fan Proposes Onstage at Lee Brice Concert [Watch]
Asking someone to marry you is a big deal, and you want to get the proposal just right. One fan had the right idea — why not get down on one knee in front of thousands of people alongside Lee Brice?
Zack Davis took his proposal to the next level at Brice’s Chicago show, totally surprising his girlfriend, Lauren Kunes. Their first date was a Brice concert in 2014, and he didn’t know then it would be his last first date ever.
Brice posted the video on social media with the adorable caption, “what it’s all about…,” even tagging the fan’s personal Twitter handle. The clip has gone viral, and the Michigan native has even received photos from people who were in the audience at the time to commemorate one of the biggest days of his life.
“One of the best things is all the articles and the pictures posted (online) by random people,” Davis says (quote via Detroit Free Press). “I’ve contacted people to see if I could get copies, and everyone has been so happy to do that. It’s been absolutely mind blowing.”
Brice has been on tour this summer around the country, including several fairs and festivals. His latest single, “That Don’t Sound Like You,” was released in May as the third single from his album I Don’t Dance. He released the emotional music video for the song on June 30. Brice won Single Record of the Year at the 2015 ACM awards in April for “I Don’t Dance.”
