Lee Brice Gets Engaged to Longtime Girlfriend

Lee Brice is certainly starting 2012 out right — he’s engaged! The ‘Love Like Crazy’ singer stayed true to his hit single when he popped the question to his girlfriend, Sarah Reevely, on Monday, Jan. 2.

Brice and his lady were vacationing in Key West, Fla. when he asked her to be his wife, and of course, she said yes — though his surprise almost didn’t go according to planned. “She was getting ready for dinner around the corner. I kept getting almost caught trying to take the ring in and out of my pocket,” Brice tells Us Weekly.

Thankfully, the country singer was able to save himself from ruining the surprise. “I walked around the corner [and] acted like I was putting on my bracelet, saying, ‘Hey, I think I may wear my rings tonight,’ and asked her if she would wear one,” he reports. “I pulled hers out of my hand, got down on one knee and asked her.”

According to reports, Reevely, 29, and Brice, 32, met 13 years ago, when she was just 18. The couple have a 3-year-old son, Takoda, together. “I finally get to marry that beautiful girl I met on Myrtle Beach years ago,” Brice says excitedly. “I can’t wait to get Sarah and Takoda to Nashville so we can all be together.”
