Lee Brice kicked off his Life Off My Years Tour this past weekend, and since friend and former tourmate Tyler Farr had to pull out of the tour due to undergoing surgery to remove a polyp on his vocal chords, Brice and Maddie & Tae decided to honor the singer on his birthday.

At their tour stop in Rochester, N.Y., Maddie & Tae led the crowd in a singalong of Farr's "A Guy Walks Into a Bar" before Brice came out and joined them to screams. Brice posted the video of the performance on Facebook, wishing his friend a happy birthday. Farr turned 32 on Friday (Feb. 5).

"Happy Birthday (yesterday) to Mr. Tyler Farr...We miss you out here, brother," Brice captioned the video. "Thank you to Maddie and Tae for letting me crash their set during their tribute to Tyler. We have another special guest stopping by the #LifeOffMyYears Tour tonight in Kingston, RI!! #OneBigHappyFamily"

Brice will tour with Maddie & Tae, Jerrod Niemann, Dylan Scott and Clare Dunn through the spring. Farr was originally slotted to be on the tour, but in January had to cancel his appearance after being placed on total vocal rest after undergoing surgery to remove a polyp on his vocal cords.

“This is the last thing I would’ve ever expected,” Farr said. “I sing hard, and I give it everything I have every night, but I really believed I was putting my training to work. After a No. 1 song, an awesome tour with Jason [Aldean] and getting engaged, this is not how I thought I was going to be winding up 2015.”

Farr underwent surgery two weeks ago, and let fans know he was doing fine with a video message of a thumbs up sign filmed by his fiancee, Hannah Freeman.
