Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Lee Greenwood has an expansive list of 22 studio albums, and seven compilation albums and he's adding one more to the mix. The country star will release his first-ever live album later this year.

The 'God Bless America' singer won't be doing this project alone, though. He's inviting his fans to help out with the album, encouraging them to participate in choosing the songs and to submit photos for the album cover artwork.

"This is 100% about the fans," Greenwood says. "We will let the fans choose the songs that will be included on the recording and we will let the fans submit their very own concert photos to be included in the cover artwork. This is completely for them all the way!"

Fans can send these items to liverecording@leegreenwood.com or contact the artist through his social media properties. It takes a great deal of confidence for a star to hand off something of this magnitude to fans, and Greenwood showcases his genuine gratitude to his fans through this invitation.

The album, 'Greatest Hits: Live' will be recorded July 3-6, during his busy summer touring schedule, which included a performance at the CMA Music Fest and runs through December.

If fans can't make it out to one of his shows, they can trek over to the Country Music Hall of Fame, where Greenwood's spotlight exhibit 'Lee Greenwood: American Patriot' will remain on display until Spring 2014.
