Meghan Trainor and John Legend may wanna check out this cover of their hit song "Like I'm Gonna Lose You." Recently the girls of Song Suffragettes closed a #LetTheGirlsPlay show with the cover. Watch the full song here — it's a taste of what happens every Monday night at the Listening Room in Nashville.

Kalie Shorr sits center stage (as she often does) and opens the song. She also plays guitar and leads the group through the cover, with the other four ladies doing plenty to keep up. Zimri's original voice continues the first verse before Lena Stone comes in for the high notes. Then it's Lexi MacKenzie on the chorus:

“So I’m gonna love you / Like I’m gonna lose you / I’m gonna hold you / Like I'm saying goodbye / Wherever we’re standing / I won’t take you for granted / Because we’ll never know when / When we’ll run out of time,” they sing. Allison Veltz starts the second chorus and the song continues from there.

Song Suffragettes shows were started as a way to give women -- especially unsigned women in Nashville -- a stronger voice in the face of so many obstacles. Every Monday the group plays the Listening Room, and once each month Taste of Country spotlights an artist with a three-part series exploring their music and career. October's artist was Sara Haze, a writer on "Relapse" from Carrie Underwood's new Storyteller album.
