Every Monday night, the Song Suffragettes players choose a cover song to finish the show, and on a recent Monday they collaborated to cover Taylor Swift's latest single. "Wildest Dreams" is performed acoustic by five up-and-coming singers during this video exclusive to Taste of Country.

Mignon Grabois, Karli Chayne, Kalie Shorr, Sara Haze (songwriter for Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and more) and Alex Masters are on stage for the song. Shorr begins, but quickly it turns into a five-part, harmonic ballad. The song matches the mood of Swift’s original version from her latest 1989 album.

That’s Masters singing the second verse, but Chayne and the others get a chance to star in the spotlight soon enough. Once again it’s the power of collaboration, and the power of women helping women that make this song beautiful. The #LetTheGirlsPlay movement was started in response to the challenges women face in country music. Taste of Country is a proud partner.

Next week ToC will reveal another #LetTheGirlsPlay artist of the month. Three of the five girls on stage for this cover have been featured artists in the past, and October's singer already has a nice head start on a big career in country music.
