Lindsay Ell has just won her third Showdown in a row, but she's facing a challenge from a living legend.

Ell's new single, "By the Way," is about moving on from a broken relationship. It's a fun, up-tempo track that features banjos and mandolins, and she also gets to show off her guitar playing. Her fans have been turning out to vote in droves, most recently helping her defeat Justin Moore by a wide margin.

Don Henley recently released his first-ever country album, Cass County, and he enlisted Trisha Yearwood to contribute harmony vocals for his new song, "Words Can Break Your Heart." It's the blend of two of the greatest voices in the history of contemporary music -- but will that be enough to get past Ell's vote-crazy fans?

Listen to clips of both Ell and Henley's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Friday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Friday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
