Lindsay Ell brought Taste of Country into the fray at the Faster Horses Festival July 16, when she took over our Instagram account and showed us what it was like from behind her sunglasses.

The singer-songwriter gave followers a peek into the super fun backstage area for artists — including a cornhole setup, a gazebo and even a pool — as well as a few select performances by other artists and a view from the side of the stage during her performance.

Lindsay Ell Proves She's a One-Woman RockStar With This "Criminal" Performance

Ell showed off some clips of her talented peers crushing their own performances like Aubrie Sellers and David Nail, some shots from her soundcheck, and a pic with one pal she ran into backstage: Mo Pitney. Check out her full feed below!

The artist is one of country’s up-and-coming talents, not only boasting vocal chops and songwriting skills, but the ability to rock an electric guitar. She’s been cultivating a career in Canada for years, but is now breaking into the U.S. with her latest single “By the Way.” Ell was a part of the CMT Next Women of Country tour alongside artists like Jennifer Nettles, Brandy Clark and Tara Thompson. She even pulled off a feat not many — if any — artists can say they’ve accomplished: a 24-hour concert. Ell took the stage for a full day in Nashville last fall to raise money for Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carrell, Jr. Children’s Hospital.

“I haven’t had music out for a while, and so we just thought about what we could do. I’d never heard of anyone doing a 24-hour concert before,” Ell said at the time. “I was like, ‘Alright guys if I’m going to to do something this crazy then I want to do something good. I want to be able to help somebody.’ Charities for sick kids is a soft place in my heart, so we were able to raise so much money for Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, which was awesome. I was humbled.”

Fans can catch Ell at several festivals and other shows this summer, including a performance at the Grand Ole Opry, before she picks up with Kip Moore’s Me and My Kind Tour in November.
