'Boondocks' is an example of how great songs aren't always big radio hits. In 2005, Little Big Town's single went Top 10, but its impact would be felt for years to come -- a key requirement for entries on the Top 100 Country Songs list. One could argue that bands like the Band Perry, and more recently Edens Edge, would have struggled if LBT hadn't made bluegrass cool again.

Take a moment to pull apart and appreciate the four harmonizing voices that layer like a delicious cake late in this song. Most importantly, they know what they're talking about, as all four LBT members were born in raised in small-town America.
