Little Big Town made waves with their catchy single "Girl Crush," and the accompanying music video is equally stimulating. The video features black and white footage of band members Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet standing on a stage and crooning the original song.

Closeups of each band member are interspersed with shots of a sparkling disco ball. The "Girl Crush" video also includes footage of a silhouetted couple slow dancing. The slow-paced clip is the perfect complement to the soulful, tender lyrics.

"I wanna taste her lips, yeah, ‘cause they taste like you / I wanna drown myself in a bottle of her perfume / I want her long blond hair, I want her magic touch / Yeah, ‘cause maybe then, you’d want me just as much / I got a girl crush, I got a girl crush," they sing.

The upbeat song caused controversy in some communities, as more conservative country radio listeners accused it of promoting a gay agenda. However, the band maintains that music should be appreciated for what it is, not analyzed for a particular agenda.

"It took our breath away," member Jimi Westbrook says of hearing the lyrics for the first time. "We were like, 'Wow, I've never heard that lyric before,' and that's not easy to do these days, cuz you feel like everything's been done at some point or another. But it's just a brilliant lyric...the first time we heard it we were like 'wow, we've gotta cut that.'"
