Little Big Town's version of the classic 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' leaves one wanting for more from the country quartet. They've yet to release a holiday album, but their perfect harmonies are as a warm as a cup of cocoa next to a well-fed fireplace.

A simple acoustic guitar is an important fifth member of the group during this song, which is available on iTunes. The group will also perform it during ABC's 'CMA Country Christmas' special on Dec. 1. They strip away the noise and clutter of the holiday season to reveal a beautifully intimate moment that one will enjoy sharing with his or her closest family members.

"Have yourself a merry little Christmas / Let your heart be light / From now on / Our troubles will be out of sight," Karen Fairchild sings before the remainder of the group joins in. "Here we are as in olden days / Happy golden days of yore / Faithful friends who are dear to us / Gather near to us once more."

A telecaster crackles through the song after the second verse, but doesn't take away from the song's simplicity. Little Big Town embrace all that is good about this too often over-commercialized holiday. It's a song that should remain on holiday playlists for years to come.
