Little Big Town have announced that they are rescheduling their planned performance in Las Vegas due to one of the band members' upcoming surgery.

The group announced last week that they would have to cancel all of the shows they have on the books through the end of July, while singer Jimi Westbrook undergoes vocal cord surgery.

“"With heavy hearts we want to let you guys know that Jimi will have to undergo surgery next week to remove a polyp on his vocal cord. As a result, doctors have ordered him to rest his voice and completely recuperate before we continue touring," they stated via their website. "All shows through July 30 will be cancelled or rescheduled. It breaks our hearts to let you guys down, but Jimi’s health is the most important thing and he is expected to make a full recovery with rest and treatment. We will keep everyone updated on Jimi’s progress. Thanks for your understanding and support.”

One of those show was slated for the Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on Friday, June 26. That show has been rescheduled to Dec. 4, with tickets currently on sale.

“Originally our date was going to be cancelled, but we didn’t want to let down the Vegas fans so we scrambled to find a new date,” says Bobby Reynolds, VP of Booking for AEG Live Las Vegas. “We luckily found a new date with perfect timing. Friday, Dec. 4 falls right during National Finals Rodeo, so now more Little Big Town fans will have the opportunity to see them at the Joint.”

Tickets for the June 26 show will be honored on Dec. 4. Ticket holders who can't make the new date can receive a refund through their original point of purchase. Special guests for the Dec. 4 show are to be announced.
