After seriously intense voting, LoCash have pulled off a victory against Casey James in the Showdown.

The recently re-christened duo and the American Idol alum fought down to the last few seconds of voting, with LoCash ultimately taking the lead by a mere one percent of the vote. Their uptempo, fun-loving new single "I Love This Life" moves on to face a very tough new challenge from Thomas Rhett.

His latest, "Crash and Burn," is a very fresh take on contemporary country that draws on some serious soul influences. Written by Chris Stapleton, the song is the lead single from Rhett's highly-anticipated sophomore album.

Will Rhett's fans turn out to vote, or will LoCash's devoted voting block steamroller their way to another Showdown victory? Listen to clips of both LoCash and Rhett's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Monday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Monday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
