If Taylor Swift is ever feeling unsure of her talent before she performs in a stadium full of screaming fans, all she needs to do is call up pop singer Lorde, who admits she's completely "in awe" of Swift's skills.

The New Zealand singer-songwriter is at the top of the pop music scene right now, but when asked about her favorite performers to watch, she was quick to gush over the 'Red' singer's stage abilities.

"She is so good as a performer. I don’t think people realized how difficult a stadium is to perform in," Lorde tells Rookie, speaking of Swift. "You have to change how you move and how you talk to accommodate that scale, and she is so good at that. It feels natural when she does it."

Adds the singer, "I’m so in awe of her ability, it’s insane.”

The two superstars have common ground in songwriting, performing and their young age; Lorde is only 17, while Swift also got her big break in country music when she was a teen herself. Now, at the older (but certainly not old) age of 24, Swift has the experience and talent to pass on to Lorde.

Of course, Lorde isn't the only one who believes in Swift's talent. Rolling Stone also named her one of the 50 greatest live acts, a list which also boasts names like Prince and Bruce Springsteen.
