Lucy Hale is proving her country cred. Her debut single 'You Sound Good to Me' took a third straight Showdown over the weekend, easily topping 'Later On' by the Swon Brothers. Today and Tuesday, she'll be up against a country newcomer as hungry for a hit as she is.

Chase Rice's debut single 'Ready Set Roll' is one of the most talked about songs in country music. It's already charting, despite no push from a major record label. It's been fan support carrying the song -- and the former University of North Carolina footballer will need all of his fans to tackle this actress-turned-country singer.

Listen to clips of both Hale and Rice’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Wednesday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Wednesday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
