Luke Bryan has a pretty big gig coming up... co-hosting the 2016 ACM Awards alongside his buddy Dierks Bentley.

“When we found ourselves searching for a new co-host, I didn’t have to look much further than my own circle of friends, so Dierks was a natural choice,” Bryan shared. “We have a lot of fun together, and I know the fans will be in for something special.”

With Bryan and Bentley acting as co-hosts, everyone is destined to be thoroughly entertained throughout the evening's broadcast. After all, Bryan is the reigning Entertainer of the Year.

Bryan is up for the top award of the night again this year, and the upcoming competition has him reflecting on last year's win.

"Anytime you get the Entertainer nomination, it is a huge deal, and you know you are always going to be in there with the best of the best, and certainly all of the other nominees are that,” Bryan tells the Boot. “It is always an exciting moment of the night; the big Entertainer portion of the show is pretty crazy stuff.”

The 39-year-old is going up against some hard-to-beat acts for this year's recognition, including Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Garth Brooks and Jason Aldean.

In addition to hosting the awards ceremony, Bryan is also slated to perform during the show. There's no confirmation on what he will sing, but we wouldn't be surprised if it's his new single, "Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day."

The 2016 ACM Awards will air live from Las Vegas April 3 at 8PM EST on CBS.
