Luke Bryan's video for "Light It Up" stars Minnesota Timberwolves’ Jimmy Butler. The NBA star is a country music fan who frequently attends Bryan's concerts — he's a fan, no doubt — but don't think he took it easy on the singer on the court.

During a recent chat with Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex, Bryan reveals that he played ball with Butler, and the outcome isn't something he'd like to publicize. But you can probably guess what happened.

"I wouldn't recommend it," he confesses. "When you have that mentality, you're not easy on anybody. When we got done playing I said, 'Jimmy, what percentage were you operating on?' And he goes, '10.' I couldn't imagine 90 more percent."

Bryan knows better than to try to beat Butler at b-ball again, so he'll head out on another headlining tour next year instead. The country megastar announced the first leg of his 2018 What Makes You Country Tour during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Six dates have been revealed so far, with more coming soon. Kip Moore and the Cadillac Three will serve as support acts on the first leg.

The singer is keeping busy through the holidays, as he recently released his sixth studio album, What Makes You Country. Additionally, Bryan will serve as judge on the revamped reality singing show American Idol next year alongside Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. The show is set to premiere on March 11, 2018 on ABC.
