Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood Up for Billboard Milestone Award

Two huge country music stars are holding it down for the genre in an important award category for the 2014 Billboard Awards. Billboard has announced the finalists for the second-annual Milestone Award and Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood are representing country music in the category.

The two country acts have some stiff competition in the category. The six finalists include Imagine Dragons, John Legend, OneRepublic and Ellie Goulding. This category is reserved for an artist that has hit some type of chart milestone in the past year. Kelly Rowland will be on hand to present the award alongside one special fan winner.

Lucky for country fans, Billboard is allowing fans to place their vote and help their favorite artist win! Click here to vote for your favorite nominee in the Milestone Category. The top three finalists will be announced on April 21 on the Billboard website. Fans can continue to vote through the second hour of the live award show on May 18 and the winner will be announced during the show's final hour. Last year, Justin Bieber took the Milestone Award home.

The 2014 Billboard Awards will air live on May 18 on ABC at 8:00 PM ET, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
