Two stadium dates on Luke Bryan’s Kill the Lights Tour will include a performance from Chris Stapleton. The “Home Alone Tonight” singer took to Twitter to reveal the news on Thursday night. But it's not the first time they’ve collaborated.

Stapleton co-wrote Bryan’s hit song “Drink a Beer” and helped perform it on his behalf when Bryan was unable to attend the CMT Artist of the Year ceremony in 2014. His brother-in-law died unexpectedly days before the show, so Stapleton and Lady Antebellum did the honors for him. The “Nobody to Blame” singer has also performed the song with Bryan at awards shows.

The two shows Stapleton will be a part of are in Boston at Gillette Stadium on July 16, and Dallas at AT&T Stadium on Oct. 22. Bryan’s Kill the Lights Tour is an extensive trek across the country and Canada. He takes to the road again on Feb. 18, but this second leg starts in May. Look for Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town to join Bryan most nights. His last show is scheduled for Ford Field in Detroit on Oct. 29.

In April, Bryan will return to co-host the ACM Awards, this time with Dierks Bentley. The singer is a perennial nominee, and fans expect he’ll be up for major awards when the nominations are announced on Monday (Feb. 1). After his success at the 2015 CMAs, Stapleton is expected to receive multiple nominations, as well. The 2016 ACM Awards air live from Las Vegas on April 3.
