Luke Bryan was admittedly less than 100 percent when he took the stage for two shows in California over the weekend, but he powered through with help from a grocery list of over-the-counter remedies.

The troubles actually began prior to his Sacramento show on Thursday (Oct. 15). The star says he “plowed through,” later lamenting his spate of bad luck:

Friday night he was in San Diego before a Saturday night show in Irvine. TMZ reports that Bryan lost his voice during the show, but still thrilled fans with his hot dance moves. On Sunday he revealed he was well-medicated, but still feeling ill. “Mucinex, prednisone, advil, inhaler, prilosec, zpack. Yuck. And get this. Not one after beer after the show all week. Tragic,” he tweeted.

Earlier this month Bryan had to reschedule his tour stop in South Carolina, twice. Shows scheduled for Lexington, Ky., and Knoxville, Tenn., were also rescheduled as heavy rains moved through the southeast.

The Kick the Dust Up Tour will resume on Thursday night in San Antonio, with shows Friday and Saturday in Dallas. The final show of the tour is on Oct. 30 in Detroit, Mich. Bryan will also perform at the 2015 CMA Awards on Nov. 4, where he is up for Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. He'll be looking to go back-to-back in the night's big category.
