Tonight's Luke Bryan concert in Athens, Ga. will air live on SiriusXM radio. Tune in to The Highway (channel 59) at 9PM ET to hear this stop along Bryan's Farm Tour 2011. The show is sold out, so the only way to get close to the music if you don't have a ticket is by satellite.

In the promotional video below, Bryan explains that he schedules the Farm Tour stops near colleges so he can integrate a scholarship into the show. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales go to help one deserving student; Athens is the home of the University of Georgia. Thursday night, the 'Country Girl (Shake It for Me)' singer played near Clemson University in South Carolina.

"I love watching the town's people and the sheriff go, 'Man we ain't never had nothing like this,'" Bryan says, adding that he's as passionate about supporting farming as he is supporting the military. The last Farm Tour date is on October 6 in Valdosta, Ga.

"We're enjoying getting out in the fields and playing some music," he says. Bryan grew up in Leesburg, Ga., moving to Nashville after studying at the University of Georgia. His current single is 'I Don't Want This Night to End' from his 'Tailgates and Tanlines' album.
