Luke Bryan is well known for his hip shaking and catchy, singalong choruses live in concert, but the country singer recently added a new skill to his stage show: smashing guitars.

During a show in Greenville, S.C. in early March as part of his Kill the Lights Tour, the "Fast" singer showcased his appetite for destruction when he began waving his guitar in the air, only to bring it crashing down on the stage in front of him seconds later.

While his band closed out the set, a big smile encroached on Bryan's face before he began to destroy the guitar in front of the crowd. All the while, the band played Metallica's "Enter Sandman," which seemed a fitting choice. His guitar was soon in pieces, which Bryan began to throw into the audience for keepsakes. Bryan's 2017 is off to a busy start. The singer recently stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon — where the two joined forces to sing a song about mispronouncing a lunch order — met his wax figure, and is preparing to host the ACM Awards with Dierks Bentley on April 2. Bryan also performed the National Anthem at the Super Bowl last month. In May, he will launch his Huntin’, Fishin’, & Lovin’ Every Day Tour which includes a rotation of six openers and runs through October.
