Luke Bryan comes from a farming family, and his passion for farmers run deep. Not only is Bryan in his eighth year of his Farm Tour, this year the artist is releasing an EP to go along with it, and fans can now see the video for the title track, “Here’s to the Farmer."

The laid-back tribute paints a picture of the hard-working farmer’s life, trekking on through hardship and changing times to hold true to his convictions. It’s an homage to the value of a profession that gets little recognition but on which so many others rely. Bryan understands the importance of farmers in America and makes it clear in the video, which includes footage of one of his Farm Tour shows and is dedicated to the memory of ‘Farmer Bob' of Maple Lane Farms in Greenback, Tenn.

The Here’s to the Farmer EP is slated for release on Sept. 23 and will feature all new songs, including “Southern Gentleman,” a song Bryan revealed to fans by playing it live recently. Bryan is currently finishing up the 2016 leg of his Kill the Lights Tour and begins Farm Tour dates in October. Proceeds from the tour benefit his scholarship fund, which awards college scholarships to students who either come from a farming family or plan on majoring in agriculture.

Bryan also recently attended the ACM Honors awards, where he performed a tribute to Eddie Rabbitt with Cole Swindell. The guys teamed up to sing the 1980 hit “I Love a Rainy Night,” and their performance aired on the first-ever broadcast of the ceremony on Sept. 9.
