Luke Bryan has just won a major Showdown victory with his latest single, "Home Alone Tonight," and now he's moving on to face a challenge from a country newcomer who is hotter than hot right now.

Little Big Town singer Karen Fairchild joins Bryan for "Home Alone Tonight," which puts a contemporary country spin on a classic country theme of getting even with an ex by hooking up with some else -- and letting them know about it. The single is the third he's released from his current Kill the Lights album, and fans turned out to vote for it in droves, giving it a big win over the latest from Frankie Ballard.

Kane Brown is a 22-year-old who seems to have come from virtually out of nowhere to become one of the most talked-about young artists in country music right now. He earned a huge fan base online by releasing a series of cover songs via Facebook, but his new single, "Used to Love You Sober," is earning him fans for his own music, too. Brown has a huge online following --  but will it be enough to challenge a superstar like Bryan?

Listen to clips of both Bryan and Brown's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Monday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Monday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
