One of the biggest awards of the night at the 2015 CMT Music Awards, Male Video of the Year, went to country vet Luke Bryan for "Play It Again," his boy-meets-girl ballad from his album Crash My Party.

The goofy, but sincere megastar took the stage after a spoof video featuring Justin Bieber and late night talk show host James Corden dancing and singing along to one of his hits.

“Yeah, Bieber loves me,” Bryan quipped with a smile. The singer was more than at home on stage as he went on to joke with an audience member before transitioning into an earnest speech.

“This is a big surprise, this is awesome,” he added. He thanked the fans and also gave a heartfelt, personalized thank you to one particular standout "working his butt off" on Bryan's tour, Mike Monaco, who also helped make the video. The artist was clearly excited to be there, letting out a few whoops of excitement before he walked off.

Bryan was also nominated for Video of the Year for "Play It Again," but the prize went to the big winner of the evening, Carrie Underwood, who used the televised event to mark her return from maternity leave.
