Is Luke Bryan collaborating with Miley Cyrus? There's been some talk -- okay, rumor mill chatter -- about a possible duet between the pair, and now, country's most famous hip-shaker is speaking out.

The rumor gained momentum thanks to speculation from a morning radio show, and country fans responded immediately with a resounding 'no,' saying in less than a few words that the 'Wrecking Ball' singer would become a wrecking ball in Bryan's career.

But it wasn't only music fans that negated the potential pairing -- the 'Drink a Beer' hitmaker himself has come forward set the record straight. So, will Bryan be working with Billy Ray Cyrus' little girl?

Cue a collective sigh of relief from diehard country fans around the globe.

Bryan certainly isn't opposed to duets -- after all, he sang on Florida Georgia Line's 'This Is How We Roll' -- but a duet with Cyrus would be a little far-fetched. The singer is doing just fine on his own, recently making history on Billboard's Country Airplay Chart by nabbing the No. 1 and No. 2 spots.
