Punters are people, too. At least that's what Brigham Young University football players are hoping to explain in their hilarious new Luke Bryan parody, "Puntin’, Kickin’ and Lovin’ Every Day."

Inspired by Bryan's No. 1 single "Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day," the football team put their own spin on the song with catchy lyrics that will likely have viewers laughing along.

“If I could make a livin’ of kickin’ up balls / And never worry about returning calls / On the side of the field, waitin’ for my chance to shine,” they sing.

In the video, shot in the BYU stadium and locker room, the players show love for those who aren't in the limelight as much as quarterbacks and receivers.

“If you play on special teams, you know you never get any love. This song is dedicated to all specialists,” the players captioned the clip on YouTube. “A huge thanks to all those who helped in the making of this video, and a special thanks to country legend, Luke Bryan who inspired this parody with his original song: 'Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day.'”

Watch the parody above. Perhaps Bryan will find it humorous and perform it at next year's WE Fest?
