Luke Bryan Takes Over Taste of Country

Luke Bryan has just released his fifth studio album, Kill the Lights, and he's taking over Taste of Country this week to unveil some never-before-seen content for the album, including exclusive videos, a flyaway contest and an interview.

Bryan released the album's first single, "Kick the Dust Up," back in May, and the song is such a perfect tune for summer fun that he even titled his enormous stadium-filling tour after it. He's just dropped a sexy new single, the soul-influenced "Strip It Down," and he'll be sharing the story behind it in an exclusive video later in the week, but he kicked things off by letting fans in on the writing process behind a powerful new song titled "Fast," which he hopes will have a real emotional impact.

The superstar is the hottest performer in country music right now, capable of selling out some of the biggest venues in the country over multiple nights in some markets. Kill the Lights is his first album since Crash My Party in 2013, and this time around he's switched up his approach, taking a more active role in writing the songs for the project and including a wider mix of material. "Kick the Dust Up" has already spent time at No. 1, and if the success of Crash My Party is any indication, that's just the beginning — all six of that album's singles reached the top of either the Billboard Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts.
