The country newcomers scored a No. 1 hit straight out of the box with their debut single, 'Girl in a Country Song,' which cleverly takes on the female stereotypes of bro-country. Now the song's success has inspired a very ... uh, interesting new take in the form of a heavy metal cover version.

The new twist on the song is courtesy of Chris Cruise, a radio personality who currently serves as the night host on Seattle country station KMPS. According to his website, Cruise is a "radio disruptor" whose goal is "no 'radio voice,' and no pretending to be something he's not."
