Maddie & Tae will spend part of their weekend on the small screen, with a guest appearance on the Disney Channel's Girl Meets World, a spin-off of the '90s sitcom Boy Meets World.

The plot will find the main character, Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard), and her friends traveling to Texas, where Matthews will get a crash-course in all things country. During the three-part episode, titled “Girl Meets Texas,” the characters will get to hear Maddie & Tae perform their song “No Place Like You,” a tune featured on their debut album, Start Here. Check out a clip from the show above. "Girl Meets Texas" will begin airing Friday night (Oct. 16) at 8:30PM, with the next parts of the story to run Saturday and Sunday.

The girls will be appearing on TV again soon for the 2015 CMA Awards, which air Nov. 4. Maddie & Tae are not only nominated for several awards, including Vocal Duo of the Year, New Artist of the Year and Music Video of the Year (for “Girl in a Country Song”), but are also performing at the ceremony.

Tae Dye was blown away to hear the nominee announcements.

“We grew up watching these shows, seeing all the stars — and just getting to go last year was so fun,” Dye says. “But to be up for actual awards? For songs that are taken from Maddie’s and my life? That is everything we were dreaming of when we were driving back and forth to Nashville for songwriting weekends when we were 15 years old.”

The artists were on tour with Dierks Bentley as part of his Sounds of Summer Tour this year (where Bentley proved he does not discriminate when it came to pranks) and also brought “Girl in a Country Song” to the Today show stage in early September.

The Best Album of 2015? It's Obvious, Isn't It?
