Maren Morris will embark on her first headlining tour in 2017. The Hero Tour begins in February. The "'80s Mercedes" singer announced 11 dates in February and March, playing mostly large cities.

Morris will kick off her run on Feb. 3 in Boston. The Hero Tour includes two weekends in February and another two in March before wrapping on March 25 in Texas. A press release indicates that more shows will be added at a later date. Tickets go on sale Oct. 21.

It's been quite a year for Morris, a Texas native known for sharp songwriting and a progressive, soulful bent. Her Hero album was hailed by critics and her hit song "My Church" is one of Taste of Country's Top 10 of 2016 (so far). At the 2016 CMA Awards she's nominated in the Female Vocalist, New Artist, Album, Song and Single of the Year categories. In fact, she's the most nominated artist leading up to the Nov. 2 ABC broadcast.

Morris finishes Keith Urban's Ripcord Tour in November. It was a summer-long tour that also included Brett Eldredge.
