Maren Morris is already a unicorn, and now she's got the hair to flaunt it further. The "80s Mercedes" hitmaker took a page from Lauren Alaina's book when she dyed her hair pink, debuting the very different look on Instagram Wednesday night (July 19).

Morris' blush color is much more muted than Alaina's hot pink pick — the soft, subtle pink hair matches perfectly with her half-smirk in the photo as she sips a glass of wine on a back patio somewhere. Within four hours of posting, Morris had more than 30K likes on her new hair, including Miranda Lambert, who commented not once, but twice to tell Morris that "you make me want a new tattoo and a 'pank' hairdo." (Lambert sported pink tips at the 2015 CMA Awards.)

This is Morris' second dramatic hair makeover in recent months — in March, she proclaimed she was a "new woman" after chopping off her signature long locks, which seem to have reappeared with her dye job.

Country Music's Most Dramatic Hair Makeovers

As recently as last week Morris — who is on Sam Hunt's red-hot (pink?) summer tour — was still rockin' her short cut and brown color. After going short earlier this year, the rising star admitted she was feeling "more empowered," saying, "I just love when girls rock short hair because they can’t hide behind anything."

She'll definitely stand out with her pink hair, declaring with a quote from the 1989 film Steel Magnolias, "My colors are blush & bashful."

Morris is newly engaged to fellow singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd. The couple shared the news earlier this month, revealing that Hurd proposed on July 3. They did not detail their wedding plans.

"I Could Use a Love Song" is at country radio now. Morris' Hero Tour — in honor of her critically-acclaimed debut album — hits the road this fall.
