Maren Morris took her country swagger to the famed Saturday Night Live stage on Dec. 10, marking her musical debut on the comedy show.

Morris opened her two-song set with her hit "My Church," setting a dramatic tone at its start with a single spotlight. Backed by SNL's beautiful holiday set in the background, Morris delivered a solid rendition of the breakout song, hitting every note perfectly while strumming a pretty white guitar and donning a stunning black, diamond-clad dress.

She followed up the track with an equally impressive performance of her current hit, "80s Mercedes." After an introduction from the night's host, professional wrestler John Cena, Morris dove into a sassy performance of the track while wearing a gorgeous glittery gold jumpsuit. She danced along to the catchy tune while singing its signature lyrics: "I'm a '90s baby / In my '80s Mercedes / Pop the top down like a summer dream / She's my teenage time machine."

Making her SNL debut is just one of the singer's many major accomplishments in 2016. She was a standout star at the 2016 CMA Awards, taking home the award for New Artist of the Year, in addition to delivering a show-stopping performance of "My Church." Her major label debut studio album Hero, which features both hit songs, topped Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and earned critical acclaim from music critics.

2017 is shaping up to be an equally successful year for the rising star. It was recently announced that Morris is nominated for numerous Grammy Awards, including the all-genre Best New Artist and Best Country Album for Hero. She'll also embark on her first headlining tour, the 2017 Hero Tour, which kicks off Feb. 2 in New York City and continues through April.
