Just weeks after Miranda Lambert stood up for herself against Instagram haters, Maren Morris is now facing her own bullies head on via Twitter.

When one user boldly tweets at the young singer calling her a "disgrace" to country music, Morris claps back by sharing the hurtful tweet and sarcastically calling the user "sweet" before mentioning her big CMA Award win. Many fellow Twitter users also came to Morris' defense, with one calling her "pure talent and country" and backing up her CMA Award win as proof against Kelsey's comments.

In spite of the insulting comment, it's clear that country music and its fans are in full support of the star, as Morris was a dominant force at the 2016 CMA Awards, acting as the most-nominated artist at the coveted awards show. In addition to tearfully scooping up her first CMA win for New Artist of the year, she also rocked the stage with a show-stopping rendition of her No. 1 hit, "My Church," backed by the Preservation Jazz Hall Band.

2017 is shaping up to be a monumental year for the rising star, as she recently announced her first headlining tour that kicks off on Feb. 3 in Boston, Mass. She'll be honored with Billboard's honorary Women in Music Breakthrough Artist award in December of 2016, an accoladed that goes to an artist who's created “career-defining” music and serves as a leader in their genre of music. Morris has also been named as a nominee for the New Faces of Country Music Show at the 2017 Country Radio Seminar and is currently promoting “80s Mercedes,” the follow-up single to her smash debut single.
