Country star Martina McBride has partnered with the Women's Survivors Alliance for a special concert to celebrate women who have survived cancer. The performance will take place at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Wednesday, Aug. 24.

McBride has a longstanding penchant for recording songs with big messages, and her hit 'I'm Gonna Love You Through It' was an empowering anthem for women battling cancer, their families and other caregivers. She sang the song in a special performance at last year's Opry Goes Pink show, brought on stage by 'Good Morning America' host and cancer survivor Robin Roberts.

The performance in August is part of the three-day National Women's Survivors Convention, which takes place at Nashville's Gaylord Opryland Resort from Aug. 22-24. The convention will also feature film screenings, a pajama party, and guest speakers including GAC TV host Nan Kelley and Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton, both of whom are cancer survivors.
