Martina McBride is hopping a train for a little road trip. The singer will release her eleventh album, simply titled 'Eleven,' on October 11, and she is embarking on a cross-country train ride to promote the much anticipated release. The four-day, exclusive trip will take the singer from the west coast to the east, from Los Angeles to New York. It will make 11 stops in between, in keeping with the whole "11" pattern.

The tour is being dubbed "'Eleven' Across America Powered by Amtrak.' Eleven really is McBride's lucky number in 2011.

As part of the train ride, the singer will perform intimate shows for fans in Albuquerque, Chicago and New York, as well. The Associated Press reports that the Grammy-winning McBride has said she is excited about this journey and really, how could she not be? It's the perfect vehicle -- pun intended -- with which to promote 'Eleven' and to get up and close and personal with her fans, all the while taking in the sights and sounds of America on a train.

We weren't kidding when we said that 11 is McBride's lucky number. She was recently named the most played female artist on country radio for the past 11 years.
