Martina McBride surprised the crowd at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Wednesday night (March 26) when she took to the stage to sing with pop-rocker Gavin DeGraw.

The pair performed DeGraw's hit 'Soldier' for an extremely enthusiastic crowd.

DeGraw was also pumped from the moment the country songstress stepped onstage, looking at her in awe when her powerful vocals hit the mic, as he accompanied her on the keys. The two singers traded off vocals, and the combination of talent was something truly special. When the song ended, DeGraw pointed at the 'Concrete Angel' singer and escorted her to the front of the stage, where she took a much-deserved bow.

Even though DeGraw is a famous singer of his own right, he looked downright giddy to be sharing the stage with the country songstress. He continued in his excitement into the night, sharing later:

This isn't the first time DeGraw and McBride have worked together on a song; the country star's forthcoming cover album 'Everlasting' features a collaboration with the 'I Don't Wanna Be' hitmaker on Sam Cooke's 'Bring It on Home to Me.'
