Today, Martina McBride's latest hit single, 'Teenage Daughters,' is available for download on iTunes. Appropriately, today is also the day that McBride finds herself as the mom of not one, but two teenage daughters; her middle daughter, Emma, turns 13 today.

"I couldn't believe it when I noticed the single release date was the same day Emma turns 13!" McBride tells her label, Republic Nashville. "How fitting that I have another teenager in the house on the very day the song is released!"

McBride is also the mother of 16-year-old Delaney and 5-year-old Ava. Ava is still very young, but McBride admits that her teenage girls make her a bit nervous, and the lyrics to 'Teenage Daughters' definitely reflect this emotion.

"John and I are really proud of the open relationships we have with our girls, but let's get real, it's not always easy when they're seeking independence and you are wanting to keep them in that innocent stage," McBride says.

'Teenage Daughters' debuted at No. 40 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, and the song is already on a steady climb up the iTunes Top Country Songs chart.

McBride is nominated for an ACM Award for Top Female Vocalist of the Year, and will also be performing at the awards show, which airs on CBS this Sunday, April 3.
